Wilson Medical Center is assisting a local private practice, Wilson OBGYN and Women's Wellness, with sourcing a FM OB. This opportunity is to join an independent practice.
The practice team is currently 3 OB/GYN physicians, 2 midwives and a great support staff. There is 1 office location in Wilson and the hospital where the physicians do their deliveries and GYN surgical procedures is Wilson Medical Center. This practice has been serving women in the Wilson and surrounding areas for over 30 years and they built up an excellent reputation for patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physician to join a private practice in a small, family friendly city or for a resident physician to join a group that is committed to top notch patient care and to providing them with mentorship and support.
Position Highlights:
Practice currently has 3 OB/GYN physicians and 2 midwives, recruiting a 4 th physician.
Midwives take first call during week and weekend call.
Seeking a dynamic FM OB with a C-section fellowship
Must be willing to see patients in an OBGYN clinic, deliver babies, attend high risk deliveries and round on newborns
Established practice that has built up a strong patient base and provide excellent women's healthcare for more than 30 years
Daily clinic patient census: 25-30 daily with in office procedures.
1 call day per week and 1 weekend coverage per month
Average 15 deliveries per month
