PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Procedures are not required (backup available), but helpful if able to perform: Lines (e.g., central lines).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active NY State License
  • Board: Must be Board Certified
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Experience: Min 2 years recent experience
  • Other Qualifications: Epic Experience Required. Cannot accept Residents or Fellows.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care.
  • Manage ICU patients, including new admissions, existing patients, and holds in the Emergency Room.
  • Perform patient rounds, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
  • Communicate and coordinate with primary care physicians and specialists to ensure continuity of care.
  • Work a 7 on/7 off shift schedule (7a-7p), rotating between ICU and floor admission duties.
