Location: Ocala, FL
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week 8-hour workday
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Class B CDL Delivery Driver to join our team in Ocala, Florida.
This position is primarily a driving role, with approximately 80% of the workday spent operating a delivery truck and transporting materials to customers. The successful candidate will operate a Peterbilt delivery truck equipped with a truck-mounted Princeton forklift.
We are looking for someone with commercial driving experience, forklift operating skills, and a strong commitment to safe and professional customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class B commercial delivery truck (Peterbilt).
- Deliver materials to customer locations throughout the assigned service area.
- Operate a truck-mounted Princeton forklift to load and unload deliveries.
- Secure and inspect loads before departure.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and documentation.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL.
- Previous commercial delivery driving experience preferred.
- Truck-mounted forklift experience required.
- Princeton forklift experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle equipped with air brakes.
- Experience with automatic transmissions.
- Familiarity with splitter transmissions and double-clutching is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and load securement procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.

Work Schedule & Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $23.00
- Monday through Friday.
- 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Eight-hour workday.
- 40-hour workweek.
- No regularly scheduled weekend work.
