Clinical Role
Join a close-knit, well-established hospital medicine team in Dyersburg, Tennessee, with opportunities available for both Hospitalists and Nocturnists. The team includes 8 physicians, 1 advanced practice provider, and a dedicated clinical performance nurse. This practice offers a collaborative environment, multidisciplinary specialty support, and the opportunity to manage challenging cases in an open ICU setting with tele-support.

Hospitalist Schedule:
- Daily rounding model
- Three providers involved in daily rounding
- Average census of 12-15 patients per provider
- On-call admissions range from 0 to a maximum of 4-5 patients
Nocturnist Schedule:
- 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Exclusively overnight shifts
- Dedicated nocturnal coverage

Patient Volume:
- Average 12-15 patients per provider
- Daily rounding model with three providers
- On-call admissions: 0-5 patients
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care
- Round on hospitalized patients
- Evaluate and manage new admissions
- Participate in on-call coverage
- Manage medically complex patients
- Participate in emergency codes
- Provide care within an open ICU environment
- Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary specialists
- Coordinate patient care and treatment plans
- Provide patient-centered care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
