The Role:

• Location: Hudson, FL 34667
• Target Start Date: Oct 1, 2026
• Emergency Privs available with clean file.
• Shift Times - 7am-5pm for dayshift and 5pm-7am for CV beeper call
• Weekdays and weekends, as needed.
• Average daily cases - CV = 3 or 4
• Is there CRNA support on call shifts? Not for CV call
• Anesthetizing Sites: 12 ORs/9 NORA
• Number of Surgical Cases per Year: 9,000
• Anesthesia Model: 9MD / 16 APP
• MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:3. Care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision. Self performing cases is uncommon. Physicians are expected to be present for Induction and Emergence, participate in post op-care, participate in pre-op evaluation of patient.
• Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab, NO OB NO TRANSPLANTS
• Cardiac Case Load: With TAVRs, mitral clips, CABG, etc, 10-12/week. 40-50/month.
• EP, watchman = 80/month.
• EMR: Medaxion (for anesthesia charting)
• Meditech for orders. Meditech for reviewing patient rec
