Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Locums OB Hospitalist coverage in Alabama with 24 hour call shifts, a defined patient load, and an ongoing monthly need.

Highlights

• Ongoing need, about 10 days per month with a minimum of 3 consecutive days per block
• 24 hour call structure with a clear response expectation, 30 minutes
• Predictable shift workload, about 6 patients seen plus 7 to 10 phone consults
• Will consider waiting for an Alabama license with an active IMLC LOQ

Practice Setting

• Inpatient OB and GYN coverage
• ER call includes GYN emergencies
• Rounds on inpatients during the day, up to 6 hours
• Care includes attached patients and ER patients during the shift, including underserved patients

Schedule

• 24 hour call shifts
• One weekend per month required
• Ongoing coverage need, about 10 days per month
• Minimum 3 consecutive days of coverage per block

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or Board Eligible within 5 years
• Alabama license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only, Open to IMLC Physicians
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
