        Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, or Pediatric Emergency Medicine

        Experience: Case logs from previous 2 years required; must document treatment of at least 300 pediatric patients within previous 12 months
        Other Qualifications: Alternative board certifications not accepted; Medical Director screening requiredDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
        
        Provide emergency medical care to pediatric patients in a high-volume emergency center.
        Work 12-hour shifts in a 24-hour physician coverage model, including days and nights.
        Collaborate with NPPAs and utilize Epic EMR and Abridge AI scribe technology.
        Manage patient transfers to Children's Hospital of San Antonio for high-acuity cases when appropriate.
        Adhere to all credentialing, privileging, and immunization requirements including ATLS, PALS, and annual PPD.
