Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Ongoing locums CRNA coverage in South Carolina with a full time weekly schedule and no call. This is inpatient OR coverage at a pediatric Level 1 trauma hospital.

Highlights

• No call required
• Ongoing assignment, additional coverage need for 2 to 3 pediatric CRNAs
• Full time schedule, 3 shifts of 13.5 regular hours per week
• Pediatric bread and butter case mix

Practice Setting

• Inpatient coverage at a Pediatric Level 1 trauma hospital
• OR resources include 8 operating rooms and 2 cath labs
• Academic trauma center environment with 21 OR suites covering Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU GYN, Robotics, and Burns

Schedule

• Full time only, 3 shifts of 13.5 regular hours per week
• No call
• Ongoing coverage need, estimated start 2027-01-01
• Credentialing timeframe is about 60 days

Cases and Procedures

• Bread and butter pediatric CRNA cases
• Support for a broad surgical service line, including trauma and other specialties as covered by the OR suites

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Board certified
• South Carolina license required, will not wait for license
• ACLS and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Lodging up to $155 per night; airline expense not reimbursed, may be considered for long term contract
• Parking not covered; free lot available and monthly pass available at a reduced rate
