We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A n octurnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

- We are an integral part of the hospital and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and providing Emergency Medicine services in addition to Hospital Medicine.
- Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
- Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in internal medicine. Family medicine can be considered with demonstrated hospitalist experience.
- Ability to manage ICU patients without intensivist backup.
- Procedural competency preferred.
- One year of hospitalist/nocturnist experience preferred for nocturnist role.
- We proudly sponsor J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.
Scheduling:
- Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
- This is a nocturnist role, and shifts will generally be 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing inpatient care to a small, acute care hospital with an open ICU and minimal subspecialty support.
- Deliver exceptional care in a community-centered practice where your expertise helps shape better outcomes for the patients who need it most.
- Manageable census and opportunity to practice with autonomy.
- Candidates must be comfortable with vent management and responding to rapid responses and codes.

Rewards and Compensation:
- Annual compensation $410,000 plus incentives for full-time nocturnist.
- Sign-on bonus of $40,000.
- Relocation assistance provided.
