This facility is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: Full-time coverage. 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM clinical/surgical coverage with call from 4:30 PM - 7:00 AM. 24/7 coverage model.
- Practice Setting: Inpatient, Operating Room (OR), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), clinic, and call coverage.
- Types of Cases: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery; inpatient rounding, clinic management, first assist in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures, Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH), Cardiothoracic surgery call coverage, and perioperative patient management.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): eClinicalWorks (eCW).
- Certifications Required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Licensure Required: Physician Assistant license
