Nocturnist Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $184.30 - $199.50

This facility is seeking a Hospital Medicine Nocturnist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Nights only; 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Preferred schedule is 7 on / 7 off, but flexible. No call.
• Total census per provider per shift: Approximately 8-10 admissions per night (PPH 8-10); nocturnist focuses on admissions rather than rounding.
• Procedures required: None. No procedures, vent management, or ICU coverage required.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified.
• Support: Works alongside:
  • An additional nocturnist (5:00 PM - 5:00 AM) who handles approximately 4-6 admissions and cross-cover.
  • An APP nocturnist who primarily handles cross-cover and may assist with 1-2 simple admissions/consults on busy nights.
  • Full hospital support staff and extensive specialty coverage available.
• Certifications and license required:
  • Active Colorado medical license required at presentation (IMLC not accepted)
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Hospital Medicine
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
