Endocrinology Physician

A well-established, community-focused healthcare organization in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, is seeking a qualified Endocrinologist to join its multidisciplinary medical team.

The organization provides comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare services to diverse populations, with a strong commitment to quality, patient safety, and evidence-based care. The successful candidate will help manage a broad range of endocrine conditions while collaborating with primary care physicians and other specialists to deliver coordinated care.

The Endocrinologist will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, metabolic bone disorders, and other hormonal conditions in adult and, when appropriate, pediatric patients.

• Conduct patient consultations and comprehensive endocrine evaluations.

• Diagnose and manage diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic bone disease, and other hormonal conditions.

• Review laboratory results, imaging studies, and other diagnostic findings.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust medications and therapies as needed.

• Provide patient education on disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.

• Coordinate care with primary care physicians, cardiologists, and other specialty providers.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical quality improvement initiatives.

• Follow current clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices.

• MD or DO degree with specialized training in Endocrinology.

• Board certification or board eligibility in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine.

• Active New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

• Strong clinical experience in endocrinology and diabetes management.

• Experience or training in Pediatric Endocrinology is highly preferred.

• Broad knowledge of internal medicine and management of chronic conditions.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cardiology and other specialties.

• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

• Commitment to culturally sensitive, patient-centered care, particularly for diverse and underserved populations.

• Willingness to participate in continuing medical education and quality improvement initiatives.

• Full-time, on-site position in Perth Amboy, NJ.
