PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; will consider BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience
  • Licenses: Active FL License, Active DEA with FL address
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required
  • Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine preferred; FM/IM with EM experience considered
  • Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination, TB screening, COVID documentation, case logs and CME documentation from past 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED
  • Manage patient volume of approximately 98 patients per day in a 16-bed ED
  • Perform all DOP-listed emergency procedures as required
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR
