  • Specialty Backup Available: Yes, general cardiologists and APPs
  • Support Staff Available: APPs
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Cath/PCI
  • TEE
  • Cardioversion
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Interventional Cardiology
  • Experience: At least 75 PCI procedures in past 12 months or completion of ACGME/AOA fellowship
  • Other Qualifications: CV and LEE Attestation form required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide weekend rounding coverage (8a-5p Saturday and Sunday)
  • Provide call coverage for weekends (5p Friday to 8a Monday), including STEMI response
  • Perform interventional cardiology procedures: Cath/PCI, TEE, Cardioversion
  • Manage inpatient cardiology patients (18-28 per day)
  • Collaborate with general cardiologists and APP support staff
