Job description

Position Overview:

A hospital in Chambersburg, PA is seeking an Electrophysiology Physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. The physician will provide both inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services with dedicated clinical support.

Schedule & Coverage:

Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
No regular call requirement
Up to 40 hours of coverage per week, primarily one week per month
Additional coverage may be needed for vacation coverage
Initial coverage dates include December and December , 2026

Clinical Volume:

Approximately 16 outpatient patients/day
Approximately inpatient patients/day
Adult patient population
Approximately years of age

Clinical Responsibilities:

Electrophysiology consultation and management
Pacemaker implantation
Traditional and subcutaneous ICD implantation
Loop recorder implantation and explantation
AVN ablation
SVT ablation
Atrial flutter ablation

Support & Environment:

Dedicated outpatient clinical team
APP support for inpatient services
EPIC EMR
Hospital-based practice with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Academic/training environment

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology/Cardiology
Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
DEA
ACLS and BLS
Electrophysiology experience required
Clean, complete credentialing file preferred
