Mammography Technologist III- Palm Springs, CA

A healthcare organization in Southern California is looking for a Mammography Technologist III for a full-time day shift position.

• Full-time, day shift with 8-hour shifts
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and DEXA exams
• Assist radiologists with breast ultrasound biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, breast localizations, and other breast procedures
• Train Mammography Technologists in breast ultrasound, mammography, and DEXA
• Complete quality control and quality assurance for mammography, ultrasound, DEXA, and biopsy equipment
• Accurately document exams and findings in EHR and PACS
• Work at both main campus and satellite facilities

• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) required
• ARRT Breast Sonography (BS) or ARDMS Breast (BR) required
• California Radiologic Technologist Mammography license required
• American Heart Association BLS required
• At least 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist II or 2 years as a licensed Breast Sonographer
• Proficiency with mammography, breast ultrasound, and DEXA equipment
