Responsibilities

Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination

Perform tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining

Assist with special stains and other histology procedures as assigned

Maintain laboratory equipment and quality-control documentation

Follow established safety, quality, and specimen-handling procedures

Work collaboratively with pathologists and laboratory personnel
Qualifications

Education and experience in histology or a related laboratory discipline

Experience with histology techniques and tissue preparation

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

HT/HTL certification or eligibility is a plus; specific certification requirements will be confirmed during screening
