- Setting: Urgent Care Clinic
- Location: Lafayette, Colorado 80026 - Floats to Lakewood, CO 80226, Aurora, CO 80012, and Lone Tree, CO 80124.
- Start Date: 1/4/2027
- Duration: 3-month initial assignment
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Shift Options: varying shifts weekly - M-F (8a-630p; 930a-8p; 11a-10p) and weekends (8a-6:30p or 830a-7p) EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED
- Call: No call
- Patient Volume: Approximately 3 patients per hour
- EMR: Epic
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required
- Emergency Room experience required
- High-acuity urgent care experience preferred
- Active Colorado Nurse Practitioner license required
- Board Certification required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to treat patients across all age groups
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages
- Perform common urgent care procedures including suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, and toenail removal
- Assess and manage a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries in a high-acuity clinic setting
- Collaborate with on-site physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff to deliver efficient patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
- Support high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced urgent care environment
