Physician Assistant (PA) - Urgent Care

Job Summary

We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join an urgent care clinic in Rockville, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have previous urgent care experience and be skilled in performing common urgent care procedures.

Position Highlights

• Clinic-based urgent care position
• 4 shifts per week: three 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift
• Schedule may occasionally vary

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent care needs.
• Perform patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform clinical procedures, including suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), splinting, foreign body removal, and wound care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Postgraduate education
• Active Physician Assistant (PA) license
• DOT license
• AAPC certification
• Previous clinical experience in urgent care
• Proficiency in suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), splinting, foreign body removal, and wound care
• Ability to work on-site in Rockville, Maryland
