Interventional Radiologist Inpatient IR with Outpatient OBL Growth
A growing, health system in the Southeast is recruiting a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join its expanding hospital-employed IR service line. This is an opportunity to practice broad-scope inpatient IR while helping support the continued development of outpatient procedural work in an office-based laboratory setting.

Clinical Scope
The incoming physician should be comfortable with a broad IR case mix, including complex inpatient work and outpatient procedures. Case mix may include oncologic interventions, ablations, embolizations, dialysis access, biliary interventions, nephrostomies, TIPS, uterine fibroid embolization, venous procedures, and bread-and-butter IR.
Ideal Candidate
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology.
- Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology or IR/DR.
- Strategic growth areas: Interventional Oncology, Embolization-focused care, Outpatient IR growth
- Comfortable with inpatient consults, procedural work, pre-procedure care, post-procedure care, and appropriate follow-up.
- Interested in supporting outpatient procedural growth in an office-based laboratory setting.
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable working closely with APPs, clinical staff, referring providers, and physician leadership.
- Values clear communication, clinical excellence, and a low-drama, solutions-oriented culture.
