SUMO Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for an exciting urgent care opportunity in beautiful Lafayette, Colorado.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, well-supported urgent care team while enjoying the scenic Front Range and easy access to Denver, Boulder, and the Rocky Mountains.
Position Details
- Location: Lafayette, CO (Rock Creek Medical Offices)
- Float Coverage: Lakewood, Aurora, and Lone Tree locations as needed
- Assignment Length: Initial 3-month contract with potential extension
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule:
- Variable weekday and weekend shifts
- Weekend coverage required
- Shift options include:
- 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM
- 11:00 AM -10:00 PM
- Volume: Approx. 3 pts/hour
- Population: All ages
- EMR: EPC (Health Connect)
Clinical Responsibilities
Providers will deliver comprehensive urgent care services including:
- Evaluation and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries
- Suturing and laceration repair
- Incision and drainage procedures
- Splinting and fracture management
- Toenail removal
- General urgent care procedures
- Management of higher-acuity urgent care patients
Requirements
- Active Colorado NP or PA license
- Board Certified
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Emergency Room experience
- High-acuity urgent care experience preferred
Support & Practice Environment
- Collaborative team environment
- Work with RNs, LPNs, MAs, 2 Emergency Medicine physicians
- No Call responsibilities
- Temporary Providers Accepted
