What You'll Do

Working under the guidance of senior engineering staff, you'll contribute to a variety of engineering and construction projects, including:

• Develop and modify 3D models, technical drawings, and construction details.
  
  
• Design and detail equipment supports, restraints, and anchoring systems.
  
  
• Assist with wind and seismic restraint designs while coordinating with existing building systems.
  
  
• Support BIM/VDC coordination and identify potential design conflicts.
  
  
• Prepare layouts, drawings, and documentation to communicate engineering solutions.
  
  
• Assist with pipe-stress modeling and finite element analysis (FEA) preparation.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate, high-quality work.

Education & Training

An associate or bachelor's degree, or relevant technical certification, in one of the following areas is preferred:

• Mechanical or Civil Engineering Technology
  
  
• Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  
  
• Construction Technology or Management
  
  
• Architectural Technology
  
  
• Engineering Science or Engineering Technology
  
  

Equivalent technical training and relevant experience will also be considered.

Experience That Will Set You Apart

• Familiarity with BIM, VDC, or CAD workflows.
  
  
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Forma.
  
  
• Exposure to commercial construction, particularly mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  
  
• Knowledge of vibration isolation, seismic restraint, or wind restraint systems.
