Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urologist to join a growing medical practice in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
The physician will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating urological conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Candidates must be comfortable working across multiple clinical locations and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage conditions involving the kidneys, bladder, urinary tract, and male reproductive system.
Perform urological procedures and surgeries, including minimally invasive, endoscopic, and open surgical techniques.
Provide outpatient and inpatient consultations as needed.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
Interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging, laboratory results, and urodynamic studies.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
Active and unrestricted New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Work Schedule & Environment
Full-time position.
Work across multiple clinic locations in Brooklyn, NY, with flexibility to rotate between locations.
Combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, and surgical responsibilities.
On-call responsibilities may be required.
Schedule may vary based on patient volume and practice needs.
