Pediatrics Physician

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,390-$7,570
• Schedule: Date-specific coverage that may include clinic hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., night call, scheduled 24-hour onsite coverage, and night-call-only coverage

• Medical degree and eligibility to practice as a physician
• Board certification required
• Fellowship training in neonatal-perinatal medicine
• At least 1 year of recent pediatric, neonatal, or NICU clinical experience
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Ability to provide scheduled clinic, call, and onsite 24-hour coverage
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric critical care procedures is strongly preferred

• Provide comprehensive care for newborns, infants, and pediatric patients in neonatal and pediatric settings
• Evaluate and manage patients in a Level II or Level III nursery/NICU environment
• Attend scheduled C-sections and high-risk C-sections
• Provide clinic coverage, overnight call, and designated 24-hour onsite coverage
• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation, including ETT, CPAP, BiPAP, and nitric oxide when clinically indicated
• Perform or manage procedures such as intubation, central and arterial line placement, umbilical lines, lumbar puncture, chest tube placement, and diagnostic or therapeutic taps
• Evaluate acute volume and blood pressure concerns and coordinate appropriate treatment
• Interpret X-rays and EKGs and participate in coordinated care with the broader clinical team
