This is an exciting opportunity to shape program development, expand access to advanced transplant and cellular therapies, and establish a comprehensive pediatric program within a nationally recognized children's health system. With significant institutional investment and a new inpatient unit on the horizon, the incoming physician will play a pivotal role in the program's future growth.

  • New Inpatient Unit: Construction and redesign of an 8-bed FACT-concordant unit is underway, with an anticipated opening in early 2028.
  • Dedicated Program Support: Two full-time pediatric BMT physician positions are budgeted, along with approved and funded dedicated BMT APP and Nurse Navigator positions.
  • Candidate Qualifications: Pediatric BMT Fellowship required; preference for candidates with 8-10 years of experience and a background in clinical leadership and program development.
  • Anticipated Start Date: Summer 2027, providing an opportunity to help shape the program ahead of the new unit's opening.
Why Orlando, Florida?
  • Year-Round Sunshine: Enjoy a warm, subtropical climate with abundant sunshine and outdoor recreation throughout the year.
  • Family-Friendly Living: Home to world-famous attractions, including Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld, offering endless entertainment for families.

  • Convenient Location: Orlando International Airport provides extensive domestic and international flight connections, making travel easy.
  • Growing Metropolitan Area: A thriving community with excellent schools, diverse neighborhoods, and access to Florida's beautiful Atlantic and Gulf Coast beaches, both within an easy drive.
