Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

An opportunity is available for a Board-CertifiedRadiation Oncology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a 288-bedtertiary teaching facility in the Mt. Clemens area. The physician will providecomprehensive radiation oncology services to an adult patient population inprimarily outpatient settings.

Schedule & Coverage

Monday-Friday, clinic and call coverage

Clinic hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Call hours: 4:30 PM-8:00 AM

Closed Saturday and Sunday; no weekendrequirements

Macomb location: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Clarkston location: Tuesday and Thursday

Practice Details

288-bed tertiary teaching facility

Patient population: 100% adult

Patient setting: 95% outpatient / 5%inpatient

Average volume: 25 patients per day

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive radiation oncologycare.

Perform 3D radiotherapy, conventionalradiotherapy, and external beam radiation therapy.

Utilize 3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT, and fractionatedstereotactic radiotherapy.

Perform stereotactic body radiation therapy(SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).

Order appropriate diagnostic tests andimaging.

Develop treatment plans and prescriberadiation therapy.

Provide inpatient consultations and callcoverage as needed.

Requirements

Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.

Active Michigan medical license.

DEA registration.
