Exposure to vascular, surgical, and neuro-interventional procedures

Responsibilities:
-
Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
-
Support angiography, biopsies, and vascular interventions
-
Assist with guidewire and catheter-based procedures
-
Perform scrub, monitoring, and fluoroscopy duties
-
Operate single-plane and biplane imaging equipment
-
Support procedures in IR, vascular surgery, operating rooms, and the neuro-interventional lab
-
Follow radiation safety and sterile technique protocols
-
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
-
ARRT registration required
-
2+ years of imaging experience required
-
Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology education program
-
CPR and ACLS certifications within six months of hire
-
ARRT Vascular-Interventional Radiography certification preferred
-
Undergraduate degree preferred
-
Ability to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call

Experienced imaging technologists interested in IR cross-training are encouraged to apply!
