Pay: Starting at $85 per hour
Overview:
Our medical practice in Vacaville is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a coverage assignment providing medical weight loss care to adult patients. You will assess patients and manage their treatment plans to support sustainable weight reduction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and follow-up assessments for patients in medical weight loss programs
- Develop and adjust individualized weight management plans, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions
- Initiate, titrate, and monitor therapies including semaglutide, tirzepatide, phentermine, phendimetrazine, and B12 injections
- Evaluate treatment response and monitor for adverse effects, modifying regimens as needed
- Educate patients on medication use, nutrition, and lifestyle change, and answer questions about weight loss
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostics to monitor metabolic health
- Perform sports physicals
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) and collaborate with clinical staff
Qualifications:
- Active, current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in California
- Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- Comfort managing semaglutide, tirzepatide, phentermine, phendimetrazine, and B12 therapies
- Experience with medical weight management and GLP-1 medications preferred
