Med Ninjas is looking for an experienced Critical Care Physician Assistant to cover a Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia. The assignment starts January 18, 2027. You'll work 12-hour day or night shifts with no call on a 32-bed CT surgery unit with intensivist support. For drive-in candidates, the client covers lodging plus either mileage or a rental car.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Manage post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients in the ICU and step-down unit
- Place central lines
- Manage ECMO patients
- Work with in-house intensivists during the day
- Cover the unit at night with an intensivist available from home
- Document in Epic
You Must Have
- NCCPA board certification
- Active Pennsylvania PA license. The client won't consider candidates who still need to get licensed.
- Active DEA
- CTICU or cardiothoracic critical care experience
- Hands-on experience placing central lines and managing ECMO
- Comfort covering nights with the intensivist on call from home
Credentialing
Be ready to provide:

- At least 3 recent, clinically relevant peer references
