Journeyman Low Voltage Electricians for a long-term, mission-critical data center construction project in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
PAY & PROJECT DETAILS - $65 per hour
- $150 daily per diem for each day worked
- Overtime available
- Long-term, full-time employment opportunity
- Large-scale, mission-critical data center project
- Multiple openings - hiring 50 licensed technicians
- Santa Teresa, New Mexico
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead and support low-voltage and telecommunications infrastructure installations within a data center construction environment.
- Work with crews installing fiber optic and copper cabling systems.
- Assist with the installation of cable pathways, racks, cabinets, patch panels, and associated infrastructure.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and installation specifications.
- Coordinate daily installation activities and support project schedules.
- Ensure installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving installation issues.
- Work alongside fiber optic specialists and other trades to support project completion.
- Maintain daily progress reports and installation documentation as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Active New Mexico ES-7J or EE-98J license, OR a qualifying journeyman electrician license from an eligible reciprocal state.
- Experience working in electrical, low-voltage, telecommunications, or commercial construction environments.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and installation instructions.
- Ability to work effectively with construction crews and other trades.
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime as required.
- Ability to pass required background screening, drug testing, and site onboarding.
