Position: TIG Welder
Pay:$28-$35 an hour based on experience
Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm M-F (Overtime as needed)
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a TIG Welder for our aerospace client up to $35.00/hr based on experience.Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities
- TIG weld or torch braze thin-wall tubes, ducts, manifolds, and tubular products to aerospace quality standards
- Fabricate parts using engineering and process routing instructions, blueprints, and assembly guides
- Work with tight-tolerance components utilizing precision measuring tools
- Set up work in jigs and fixtures, and cold work tubes, ducts, and manifolds to meet check fixture requirements
- Clean, pressure test, bead blast, polish, and blend finished products
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with the ability to read, write, and speak English
- Legal work authorization in the U.S.; ability to pass FAA drug screening and background check
- Experience welding thin-wall stainless steel or nickel alloys
- Knowledge of aerospace welding standards and fabrication techniques
Skills
- Blueprint interpretation and engineering/process routing comprehension
- Proficient with precision measuring tools
- Experience operating orbital welding equipment
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and labeling
- Familiarity with NADCAP requirements and AWS D17.1 standards; willingness to meet AWS QC1, B5.2, and CWI certification standards
