NOW HIRING: PROCESS HELPER
Collins Metal Finishing Full-Time Position
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
We are currently looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Process Helper.
Position Overview
The Process Helper plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of each processing line at Collins Metal Finishing. This position involves assisting Line Operators, handling parts throughout the finishing process, preparing completed orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
The ideal candidate is reliable, takes direction well, has a strong work ethic, and is willing to learn different aspects of the metal finishing industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations across all processing lines (Anodize, Electropolish, Passivate, Chem Film, Electroless Nickel)
- Rack and un-rack parts throughout the processing cycle.
- Wipe down, clean, and prepare parts as needed.
- Package finished parts for customer shipment.
- Perform general facility cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Assist Line Heads with miscellaneous daily tasks and production needs.
- Follow instructions and guidance to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Reliable transportation to and from work every day.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- A couple of years of general work experience preferred.
- Ability to stand and remain on your feet throughout the workday.
- Dependable, punctual, and motivated.
- Comfortable taking direction, following instructions, and working as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
