Plant Manager

Operational Leadership:

• Direct and supervise all aspects of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, welding, forming, finishing powder coating.

• Ensure production schedules are met while optimizing workflow and minimizing downtime.

Team Management:

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of fabricators, machine operators, and support staff.

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Quality & Safety Compliance:

• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards.

• Monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.

Equipment & Maintenance:

• Oversee proper use and maintenance of fabrication equipment and tools.

• Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance schedules.

Reporting & Metrics:

• Track production KPIs, labor utilization, and material usage.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years in metal fabrication or manufacturing leadership roles.

• Proven track record of managing teams in a hands-on capacity.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding processes, and CNC machinery.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Leadership Skills:

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to motivate and develop team members in a high-pressure environment.
