What You ll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Collaborate with a team including physicists and dosimetrists to ensure quality patient treatment
- Monitor patient progress and administer treatments according to physician orders
- Educate patients and families on radiation procedures and side effects
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and facility protocols
- Support a high standard of patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment
What You Need
Required: - Valid nursing license or certification as applicable
- Prior experience in a healthcare or oncology setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred: - Experience specifically in radiation oncology
