What You ll Do
- Provide hospital-based urology call coverage for adult patients.
- Evaluate and manage approximately 1 5 cases per call shift, with patient volume varying by shift.
- Perform general urology surgical procedures as clinically indicated.
- Perform stent placement, ureteroscopy, and stone treatment or removal.
- Provide additional general urology surgical care within the provider s scope and privileges.
- Document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
What You Need
Required: - MD or DO degree.
- Completion of a Urology residency.
- Board certification.
- Active Wisconsin medical license or willingness to obtain Wisconsin licensure.
- General urology surgical skills, including stent placement, ureteroscopy, and stone treatment or removal.
- Ability to provide 24-hour hospital call coverage.
Preferred: - Current Urology fellowship participation, when permitted under applicable residency program guidelines.
- Experience providing urology coverage in a Level II Trauma Center.
