What You ll Do
- Provide Emergency Medicine care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Manage approximately 2.5 3 patients per hour in a community emergency care setting.
- Document patient encounters and clinical care using Epic.
- Respond to emergency presentations in a 25-bed critical access hospital.
- Coordinate care with the onsite hospital team and available specialty resources.
- Support overnight Emergency Department coverage and continuity of patient care.
What You Need
Required: - Board certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Active Massachusetts medical license.
- ACLS certification.
- Massachusetts DEA registration.
- At least 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience.
Preferred: - Experience practicing in a community, rural, or critical access hospital setting.

Practice with a leading facility in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, located on Martha s Vineyard. The Emergency Department sees approximately patients per day, with an annual volume of about 13,000 visits, and provides care in a critical access hospital environment. Housing and ferry transportation support are available for eligible clinicians.
