What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient Interventional Cardiology and EMTALA call coverage.
- Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital.
- Perform balloon angioplasties and coronary angioplasties.
- Perform percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
- Conduct heart catheterizations and coronary angiograms.
- Provide general Cardiology consultations as needed.
- Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, including nuclear stress studies.
What You Need
Required - Interventional Cardiology expertise aligned with the procedures and coverage responsibilities listed above.
- Ability to provide inpatient and EMTALA call coverage.
- Ability to perform the required interventional procedures and interpret applicable cardiac studies.
Preferred - Experience working with adult patient populations.
- Experience using Epic Cupid.
About the Assignment
This opportunity is with a leading facility in Paducah, Kentucky, supporting an adult inpatient population alongside two Interventional Cardiologists. Other Interventional Cardiologists will be present during coverage, and the assignment includes no ambulatory clinic work.
