What You ll Do
- Provide hospital coverage for interventional cardiology consultations.
- Evaluate and manage inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients.
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
- Provide echocardiogram interpretations and cardiac imaging support.
- Respond to STEMI call coverage during assigned weekday and weekend periods.
- Manage an average of approximately 15 consults and 3 procedures per day during coverage.
What You Need
Required: - Board eligibility in interventional cardiology at minimum.
- Active Pennsylvania medical license.
- DEA registration.
- Ability to provide weekday hospital coverage and assigned STEMI call.
- Capability to perform cardiac catheterizations and TEEs and interpret echocardiograms.
Preferred: - Experience working with Epic EMR.
- Experience in a hospital-based cardiology setting.
