What You ll Do
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment planning
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders in a structured care setting
- Complete psychiatric assessments and document clinical encounters in the electronic health record
- Deliver timely, accurate charting and clear clinical communication
- Support medication management, including clinical rationale for medication use
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient care
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting clinical and documentation standards
What You Need
Required - Unrestricted Texas medical license (MD)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Current, unrestricted DEA registration
- NPI number
- Comfort/proficiency with computers and electronic health records
- Pediatric Psychiatry experience
- Ability to complete facility- and training requirements
Preferred - Prior experience providing care via telepsychiatry (if working remotely)
- Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills
About the Assignment
This is an onsite or telehealth Psychiatry assignment in
Waco, Texas, supporting psychiatric assessment, treatment, and documentation using an electronic medical record. The schedule is
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. For remote providers, the
first day must be in person, with telepsychiatry available thereafter.
