What You ll Do
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess, monitor, and respond to patients changing conditions.
- Support emergency care needs in a critical access hospital environment.
- Assist the Med/Surg department as needed.
- Work independently while maintaining safe, effective patient care.
- Document patient care using the Cerner electronic medical record system.
- Participate in every-other-weekend coverage as needed.
What You Need
Required: - Active RN licensure.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- At least 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
- Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting.
- Comfort working 7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m. shifts and assisting with Med/Surg needs.
Preferred: - Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital.
- Experience with Cerner EMR.
