What You ll Do
- Provide nursing care to patients in an ICU/critical care setting.
- Monitor and respond to patients in critical care situations.
- Manage ICU drips and sedation according to clinical protocols.
- Maintain safe patient assignments with critical care ratios of approximately 2:1 to 3:1.
- Float within scope of practice to the Med-Surg unit as needed.
- Complete clinical documentation using Cerner.
- Support weekend coverage requirements.
What You Need
Required: - Active RN license.
- At least 1 year of critical care experience.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS or ENPC certification.
- Experience with ICU drips and sedation.
- Comfort working in critical care situations.
- Weekend availability.
- Ability to float to Med-Surg within scope of practice.
- Not a first-time traveler.
Preferred: - No additional preferred qualifications provided.
About the Assignment
This opportunity is with a leading facility in Chanute, Kansas, supporting ICU and Med-Surg patient care on the night shift. Block scheduling may be accommodated when possible, including schedules with three consecutive shifts. Scrub color is open.
