What You ll Do
- Provide backup call coverage for the laborist.
- Respond to calls involving current patients of the practice.
- Remain available to respond in person when needed.
- Stay within 30 minutes of the facility during assigned call coverage.
- Evaluate and manage obstetric and gynecologic patient needs within your scope of practice.
- Coordinate care with the laborist and other members of the care team.
- Complete required documentation and follow facility procedures.
What You Need
Required - Obstetrics and gynecology experience.
- Availability for assigned backup call coverage.
- Ability to remain within 30 minutes of the facility while on call.
- Appropriate medical licensure and credentials for practice in Texas.
- Willingness to obtain facility privileges if not already privileged.
Preferred - Existing privileges at the assigned facility.
- Experience providing laborist or obstetric backup call coverage.
