What You ll Do
- Provide pulmonary critical care coverage during 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Participate in daily in-house call coverage.
- Respond to call responsibilities within 25 minutes.
- Perform standard pulmonary unit consultations.
- Provide patient care and document patient contact hours, including applicable callback hours.
- Document the specific reason for callback and provide supporting notes for timesheet entries.
- Distinguish on-site callback and overtime documentation from telephone calls and medical record reviews.
What You Need
Required: - Active North Carolina medical license
- DEA registration
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Ability to provide in-house call coverage with a 25-minute response time
