What You ll Do
- Provide gastroenterology care in inpatient and emergency settings
- Respond to gastroenterology consultations and urgent patient needs
- Provide 24-hour call coverage during assigned dates
- Perform required gastroenterology procedures
- Manage callback responsibilities as needed
- Care for adult patients age 18 and older
- Document patient care using the Cerner electronic medical record
What You Need
Required: - Current California medical license
- Gastroenterology specialty training and experience
- Eligibility for current privileges at a TJC-accredited hospital, or consideration for an approved waiver
- Ability to provide inpatient, emergency, call, and callback coverage
- Ability to perform gastroenterology procedures
Preferred: - Experience performing ERCP
