Bilingual Live-In Caregiver (Female only) -Urgently hiring

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Live-In Caregiver who can speak Spanish fluently to provide quality care and companionship to a female senior age >75

The ideal candidate must be responsible, measured, patient, dependable and trustworthy, and understands that being a caregiver means providing not only excellent care, but also companionship, respect, and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide mobility, transfer, and positioning assistance
• Offer companionship and participate in activities with the client
• Prepare meals and assist with meal cleanup
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean environment
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the client's care plan
• Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities when required
• Encourage clients to maintain their independence as much as possible
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by the care team/RN
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Follow infection-control and safety policies
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and care team members

Qualifications

• Valid CNA, HHA, PCA, certification, as applicable
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or healthcare experience
• Prior experience as Live In Care highly desirable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred/required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and professional
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred/required depending on assignment
• Must be able to pass required background checks
• Current physical examination and TB/PPD testing is required
• Proof of required vaccinations may be required
• Ability to safely stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and assist clients with mobility

Live-In Requirements

This position requires the caregiver to live in the client's home for extended assignments, which may be six months or longer depending on the placement. Care is expected to be provided 7 days a week. Active duty is approximately 15 hrs a day. Meal times of 2x30 min and 8 hrs of uninterrupted sleep are not paid.

The caregiver should be comfortable providing companionship and support throughout the assignment while maintaining appropriate personal time and overnight sleeping arrangements as permitted by the client's care needs.
