Kitchen Manager - Scratch Kitchen, Polished Casual

A national, full-service polished casual brand is hiring a Kitchen Manager for its Aurora, Colorado location. Everything is prepped and cooked from scratch, the menu is focused so consistency is achievable, and the Kitchen Manager runs the back of the house as a true partner to the General Manager.
What you will own
- The line and the prep list. Execution, plating standards, and consistency on every shift.
- Your cooks. Hire people who take pride in the craft, train them well, and keep them.
- The back-of-house numbers. Inventory, ordering, food cost, and kitchen labor for a $3M+ restaurant.
- Food safety and sanitation, ready for any inspection on any day.
- A tight working relationship with the front of the house so the restaurant runs as one team.
What they are looking for
- 3+ years of kitchen or culinary management in a scratch kitchen
- Experience with national full-service brands or polished regional groups
- Stable work history. Two jobs in the last five years is the rule.
- A hands-on, steady leadership style that holds up at volume
- Pride in what goes out the window
