Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be trained to manufacture clear, flexible, photopolymer stamps used in the arts and crafts industry, using a Merigraph machine. This role requires an ability to lift 40 pounds and a willingness to adhere to quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality stamps. The Manufacturing Associate will be trained to setup, operate, and maintain a Merigraph machine while adhering to safety standards and production schedules. No prior industry or Merigraph experience is necessary. There are frequent opportunities to work overtime and a pay increase once able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a Merigraph machine; no prior experience necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to maintain optimal operation.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols.
Skills
- Basic math skills essential for measurements and calculations during machining processes.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure product specifications are met consistently.
- A desire and willingness to pay attention to small details.
