About the Role: Riccelli Trucking is looking for a skilled and dependable CDL Truck Driver to join our growing team in North Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities: - Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all DOT regulations
- Transport and deliver freight to designated locations accurately and on schedule
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate logs including Hours of Service (HOS) using ELD devices
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper securement of freight
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or incidents
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws
Requirements: - Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean MVR with a safe driving history
- Must meet DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Experience operating tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or other commercial vehicles preferred
- Solid understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a professional, reliable demeanor
