Job description:
Hallmark Stone is looking for experienced Quartz & Granite Countertop Installers as well as Apprentice countertop installers who can take the lead on residential countertop installations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, experienced with countertop installation, and able to lead a crew while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform quartz and granite countertop installations
- Ensure countertops are installed accurately and to company quality standards
- Read and understand measurements, layouts, and installation plans
- Safely operate power tools and countertop installation equipment
- Coordinate and direct installation helpers or crew members
- Identify and address installation issues in the field
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Handle stone materials carefully to prevent damage
Requirements
- Previous quartz and/or granite countertop installation experience is required
- Valid driver's license required
- Leadership skills and the ability to lead an installation crew
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Experience using power tools is required
- Ability to read a tape measure and accurately follow measurements
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be able to safely lift and maneuver heavy countertop materials
- Must be able to pass a background check
