Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Coverage (24-Hour Shifts: 12 Hours In-House + 12 Hours Beeper Call)
Coverage Period: January 1, 2027 June 30, 2027

Schedule & Call:

• Shift Structure: 24-hour shifts consisting of:
  
• 12 Hours In-House Coverage: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
  
• 12 Hours Overnight Beeper Call: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (15-minute response time required)
  
• Weekends Included

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Fellowship: Preferred
• Licensure: Active Florida State Medical License
• Certifications Required: Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Other Requirements: Resident/Teaching supervision required
  
• Setting: Inpatient (Level 3 PEDs Facility / 8-Bed Unit)

Clinical Responsibilities & Volume:

• Scope of Work: Inpatient pediatric coverage only (No outpatient responsibilities)
• Patient Volume: 4 5 patients per shift
• Admissions & Rounding: Inpatient admissions and rounding required
• EMR: Cerner
• Facility Setup: 8-Bed Pediatric Unit (Level 3 PEDs Facility)
• Travel & Lodging: Provided
